What to Get a Friend Who Has Everything
When your friend “has everything,” that usually means the generic gift categories are tapped out. Perfect. Your friendship is more useful than a generic category anyway.
Start with the friendship, not the store
What do you always do together? What do they send you at midnight? What phrase would make only the two of you laugh? What are they currently obsessed with? The best clue may have nothing to do with what they need and everything to do with how you know them.
Make ordinary things more specific
Coffee is generic. Their exact coffee is not. A book is generic. A book about the oddly specific thing they will talk about for forty minutes is not. The category can be ordinary when the reason is personal.
You are allowed to gift a moment
Dinner, tickets, a planned afternoon, a class, a ridiculous snack tasting, or simply taking something off their plate can be a real gift. Having everything does not mean having unlimited time, attention, or good memories with you.
Quick answer
For a friend who has everything, use your shared history as the filter. Choose around an inside joke, ritual, current obsession, experience, consumable, or small upgrade that shows you paid attention.
Still stuck?
Tell the Gift Finder what makes them them, pick your budget, and let’s get you out of the 37-tab rabbit hole.
